There seemed to be a school of thought last month that suggested star receiver Justin Jefferson might be willing to sit out this season if the Vikings didn’t turn things around and start winning some games. He suffered a hamstring injury on Oct. 8 as the Vikings dropped to 1-4 with a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.The fact that Jefferson did not have a contract extension in his possession left many to wonder if there was enough incentive for him to push himself to get back on the field. JOHNSTOWN, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Anthony Dotson, 37, of Utica, was sentenced for multiple charges, including second-degree murder. Dotson was accused of stabbing and killing Sara Stinnett and starting a structure fire at the building where Stinnett's body was located. BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The 45-year-old Johnstown man accused of causing the death of Amanda Sullivan pleaded guilty to second-degree vehicular manslaughter. Richard T. The indictment alleges that Irelan was operating a motorcycle while under the influence on July 30 in the Town of Wilton. Sullivan was a passenger on his motorcycle. Ireland was allegedly driving erratically and rear-ended a pickup truck on the I-87 Exit 15 southbound off-ramp. Sullivan was ejected during the crash. She succumbed to her injuries at the Saratoga Hospital.Police say Ireland's blood alcohol concentration was 0.09% at the time of the crash.
